Country & Classic Rock
Entry for July 29, 2008

Summer is about at the half-way point. We have had a great time so far and are very happy that so many of you have joined us for the fun. We endured our normal doses of rain north of the Mason-Dixon Line at times, but it didn't cause any cancellations. The band would like to thank all of the clubs and event sponsors for their kindness and inviting us to perform. Also, thanks to the Magnolia classes from the 60's and 80's for the opportunity to join in on their class reunions. At the 60's reunion, the band was honored by guest appearances from Tyler Stewart on drums (who proved that the leaf does not fall far from the tree), Jon Stewart (former drummer of the "Pale Breeze") who joins us regularly and inspires us all and Jo Ellen Snider who brought down the house singing Martina McBride's "Broken Wing". Great Job!

The band will be heading back to the studio soon to record our 3rd CD. We have also started booking for 2009. Please check the website regularly for upcoming shows and be there if you can.  -- The Band

I don't see the Po-Boy on your list of up-coming shows. When are you coming back? We had a blast

I had a good time Sat. night. I thought you sounded really great. Don't know where the crowd was - may gas is too high, but I still thought it was a lot of fun.

All right guys maybe I will get it posted this time. Jamie sold me your new CD for $476.27 a good deal since he spilt it with the band members--right? Love you buddy. Anyway, every member of our group had a differant favorite. That is always a good sign eh? We wish you well with it. Maybe the day will come when you put away the steel toes and get your name off your shirt. We all hope so. God bless you all for a great 2009. Blessings from our home to each of yours.
